The brief was for all of the hair to be worn out, with a Patti Smith dry hair texture vibe.

Hair was sectioned around the head from low recession to low recession.

The hair underneath this section line was flat-ironed to reduce the volume of this area.

The hair above this section line was back-brushed in sub-sections towards the roots, utilising a centre-part if the model had a fringe or a side part if the model had no fringe. A light mist of Kms California Medium Hold Hairspray was used for hold.

This hair was then allowed to cool. It was then brushed out with a Mason –Pearson brush. It needed lot’s of brushing.
